Favorite Food Education Standard: FES #1: Food Connects Us to Each Other.

FES #1 resonates with me. Many friendships, business deals, and treaties are cemented around a table of food.

A Favorite Food Memory or Recipe:

My favorite food memory is working in the kitchen with my mother, learning how to prepare a turkey and dressing meal. After I learned from her, I prepared this meal for some friends in their dorm room.

Why I Became a Fellow:

I am most interested in seeing how food impacts learning in the classroom. It is my belief that food will act as a motivator for attendance, and help students focus.
