Bring SnackTime Explorers to your district!

We are working hard to expand SnackTime Explorers to all FFVP districts by 2030. The FFVP is a USDA program providing fresh fruits and vegetables to elementary children at eligible schools during the school day and outside of designated lunch time. In order for your school to receive SnackTime Explorers, you must be enrolled in the FFVP. Interested in bringing SnackTime Explorers to your district? Not sure if you have FFVP or interested in bringing FFVP to your district?

“Some students, who decided a vegetable wasn’t for them, then tried it again and actually enjoyed it–even asked for more!”

SnackTime Explorer Educator

“They became so excited for each lesson. Their confidence grew when we spoke about the climates needed, the way that items grow, their words describing the items–it was one of the best experiences I have had.”

“My students asked for a bag to take the seeds home to plant them. We just finished a science section on seeds so it was a great lesson connection.”

“This year has been quite fun. The program is wonderful, and it’s so nice to have children learn about fruits and vegetables.”

“The lessons and activities made a better impact than I actually imagined. [My students] are using the language that we taught them in the lesson in different areas of our curriculum and in our daily class.”
