Bring engaging and meaningful Pilot Light workshops to your district!

We help create opportunities for teachers to integrate Food Education in immediate, short, and long-term ways.

Pilot Light now offers a variety of Food Education professional development workshops for your school district. Our program supports teachers in integrating the Food Education Standards into their teaching practices.

Each professional development workshop…

  • Trains educators on the Food Education Standards
  • Provides opportunities for teachers to connect with peers and Pilot Light staff to personalize their learning
  • Connects teachers to resources and best practices for using food as a teaching tool to deliver academic content for all grade levels and content areas
  • Can be delivered in an hour long format (virtual) or daylong intensive (virtual or in-person options available)

Teachers love Pilot Light! 87% of professional development attendees agreed that they learned something new or meaningful about Food Education in 2023-24.
