Wynter Rose – Pre-K – 8th Grade STEAM at West Park STEAM Academy – Chicago, IL
Dr. Wynter has been a Chicago Public School teacher for 28 years with degrees in Elementary Education, Library Media, and Instructional Technology. She was a library media and technology specialist for 19 years. She has also taught first and third grades, as well as technology, and health. She is currently teaching STEAM at West Park Academy, a CPS school, in Chicago, Illinois.
Wynter is a lifelong lover of learning. She has an avid love for technology and is excited to be integrating her love of technology with science, engineering, arts, and math. She has provided professional development to her staff, district, and at national conferences for many years and enjoys sharing her knowledge with other teachers on social media as well. Wynter has a passion for the outdoors and loves bringing that love into her teaching for her students. She is a mother of three teenage boys and is interested in travel, hiking, photography, computers, yoga, and healthy eating.
