On April 23, Hawksmoor is teaming up with Chef John Manion – the force behind El Che Steakhouse & Bar and Brasero – and the brilliant mischief-makers at Off Color Brewing to throw a one-night-only dinner that celebrates beef in its most joyful form. $5 of every ticket sold will benefit Pilot Light.

On April 23, Hawksmoor is teaming up with Chef John Manion – the force behind El Che Steakhouse & Bar and Brasero – and the brilliant mischief-makers at Off Color Brewing to throw a one-night-only dinner that celebrates beef in its most joyful form.
Think of it as a collision of traditions: British beefsteak revelry, South American steakhouse mastery, and a room full of Chicagoans ready to get their hands a little messy in the pursuit of really good meat. Eaten with your hands. Washed down with ale and punctuated with loud toasts, louder laughter, and the kind of storytelling that gets better with every round. Loud, generous celebrations of beef, beer, and good company.
The menu includes starters like Puffed Beef Tendon, Gougères with rarebit, raw oysters, Morcilla, and Chorizo. As for mains, you can look forward to a cornucopia of meat, including Shortloin, Chateaubriand, and Beef Ribs; with plenty of Bone Marrow Gravy, and Chimichurri & Salsa Criolla you can soak up with mountains of Sourdough Bread or Beef Dripping Chips. Beef dripping doughnuts with maple bacon and custard round out the evening. Only three rules: Come hungry. Bring friends. Leave full.
