This August, join us a for a delicious screening of WAITRESS at the Music Box Theatre as part of the ongoing Food and Film Series: Clean Plate Club! 

Pilot Light is proud to co-present this screening of WAITRESS alongside The Music Box Theatre. Join us Sunday, August 24th for an exclusive screening of the film on a rare 35mm print, paired with the Pie-lot Light 4 Mini Pie Sampler by Hoosier Mama Pie Co.!

The Pie-lot Light 4 Mini Pie Sampler by Hoosier Mama will include: 

-“We Love Our Farmers Because They Grow Yummy Food and Care for the Land” Pie – A medley of the best fruit of the season from Ellis Family Farm, Mick Klug Farms and Nichols Farm and Orchard baked in our all butter pie crust and topped with a brown sugar oatmeal crumble featuring stone ground oats from Severson Farms.

-“I Was Feelin’ Salty but Then I Ate Some Chocolate” Pie – A chocolate cookie crumb shell filled with chocolate chess pie swirled with salted caramel.

-“Let’s All Go To the Lobby and Get Ourselves a Treat” Pie –  A kettle corn pie that can’t be beat! 

-“Lemonade on a Hot Chicago Day” Pie – A refreshing blueberry lemonade curd baked in a graham cracker crumb shell

About the Film: 

Jenna (Keri Russell) works in a diner in a small Southern town and is a genius at creating luscious desserts, but her marriage to an overbearing lout (Jeremy Sisto) makes happiness impossible. When she discovers she is pregnant, she makes plans to skip town before her condition is obvious. However, she begins an affair with the new town doctor (Nathan Fillion), who is the only one who knows her secret.
