Anthony Schaff – 7th Grade Science at Gulf Shores Middle School – Gulf Shores, AL
Anthony is a 10-year teacher veteran of Gulf Shores Middle School situated along the Gulf Coast of Alabama. He leverages his outdoor classroom space that includes access to gardens, greenhouses, and the Gulf Coast State Park to offer hands-on experiences for his Life Science students.
As a Pilot Light Fellow, he is excited to develop the knowledge and skills required to help his students appreciate the cultural, nutritional, and ecological value of food.
Anthony’s interests and hobbies include learning about native plants and animals, gardening, biking, yoga, reading, kayaking, camping, and spending time in the water. If it involves the outdoors, you can bet he enjoys it.
