Brenda Armstrong – 3rd grade All Contents at Oglesby Elementary School- Chicago, IL
Brenda Armstrong is a 26-year veteran teacher in the Chicago Public Schools. I have had the privilege to serve as a literacy coach, assistant principal, teacher of grades K-8th, and a reading interventionist for grades K-3rd. I truly believe that teaching is a work of the heart and I continue to strive to present high-quality instruction by integrating empathic and empowering methods that will challenge and lead students into becoming thought partners and future leaders.
I currently teach 3rd grade in the Auburn Gresham area of Chicago. My students are very talented and eager to learn, in spite of the tremendous odds they face on a daily basis.
