Kyle Curry has served on the Pilot Light Advisory Board for 2 years. Kyle was a fundraiser in Chicago for a decade in the youth education space, at which time he became familiar with Pilot Light. Since 2015, he has consulted with nonprofits on their data and technology and has collaborated with Pilot Light on several projects.

Favorite Food Education Standard: FES #1 – Food connects us to each other. 

All of the 7 Food Education Standards resonate with me and are very important. Food connects us to each I think sums it up beautifully.

A favorite food memory:

For my 30th birthday my father took me to our first tasting menu – Moto in Chicago. It was one of the last meals we had together. He was amazed food could be so creative, and he said every course we were trying was a new memory we’d have forever.

Why I Support Pilot Light: 

Food education means equity. The more we can educate about food, the stronger our community becomes.
