Inali Hathaway is a programming intern Pilot Light and is responsible for supporting the staff in teacher professional development events, data collection and analysis, and other tasks to improve the implementation of Pilot Light programs. Inali is a native of Michigan and is currently a student at the University of Chicago pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public policy. She has previously worked with the TMW Center and Ci3, public health research organizations at the University of Chicago studying social determinants of health. Inali also has a background in health education and serves as a health educator for 9th-grade students in Chicago Public Schools through the Peer Health Exchange Organization, and is passionate about making information about healthy eating accessible to everyone. In her free time, Inali enjoys taking care of her large plant collection and listening to podcasts.
