Kristina graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in International Studies/Political Science and from The French Pastry School’s L’art de la P√Ętisserie program. After working with the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics and The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Kristina changed paths to pursue a career in baking. She is currently a baker at Hoosier Mama Pie Company in Chicago.

Why are you volunteering with Pilot Light?

I wanted to volunteer with Pilot Light to become more involved with youth in Chicago, and to find a way to intersect two of my passions: food and working with non-profits.

What is your favorite food or meal?

My favorite food is probably cheese – you can’t ever go wrong with a great cheese and charcuterie spread!
