I am a professional baker/pastry chef/cake decorator who has worked in the food industry for over 16 years. I attended pastry school at Johnson & Wales University, and have lived all over the country! I currently teach baking and decorating classes in Chicago, work part time in a local chocolate shop, and love hanging out with my dogs.

I volunteer with Pilot Light because it combines two things that I love- teaching and food! Pilot Light’s mission is important to me, and I love getting involved with our community, especially through something that I am passionate about. I had so much fun working with the kids and teachers last year, and am looking forward another great year!

My favorite food is any kind of spicy ramen or noodle style dish- the spicier the better!
