Gabriela is a software engineer who makes and breaks web applications in Chicago. Previously she has worked in the food industry as a server and bartender. Her goal is to make the world a little bit more fair and a little bit more free.
Why are you volunteering with Pilot Light?
Every child deserves to have access to food education that is fun and informational. Growing up I did not get proper food education so I had to teach myself all of that as an adult. My hope is that I can share some of what I learned so others can have an easier time than I did.
