Ben is a current student at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and joins the Pilot Light team for the summer through the university’s civic engagement program. He has always been interested in food because his dad owned restaurants in Chicago. Through this love of food, Ben is very interested in Pilot Light’s initiatives and programs! He is excited to be an intern this summer to research schools participating in the fellowship program, and to work with kids by creating events and activities to engage kids with food and healthy eating habits.
